GMT-DHR Crowned Simracing Team Challenge Champions!

GMT-DH Racing has secured the Simracing Team Challenge – Blue Cup 09 trophy after an action packed final round at Moirana!

The team secured the title after hit man Vincent Staal finished 2nd and team owner Damian Dainhumain finished 4th in the final race at a rainy Moirana track in Norway with junior team drivers Mike Wrightson finishing in 9th and Karl Dubois finishing in 13th.

The team held of a stiff and strong challenge from reigning champions the Roaring Pipes Maniacs ( RPM ) and some hard times through the middle of the season with the team once over 20 points down to lift the title with a 44 point gap and 5 wins in total, in a series which has grown into one of the fastest GT challenges in the world with some of the finest and fastest driver’s taking part for many of the top teams.

All the drivers that took part played a big role in winning the title for the team and credit is due for the team spirit and the hard work the whole team put into the challenge to lift the trophy.
