GRCS6 - Final Round - Keithley finishes 2nd in the championship

The final round of the season 6 GRC championship took place at Monaco with Jack Keithley securing 2nd place in the championship but just missing out on the title by 15 points and Mike Wrightson securing a solid 5th place overall.

Jack went into the Sprint race at Monaco in 3rd place in the standings and took pole in the superpole qualifying session. He kept the car up front for the whole race and brought it home to take his 5th win of S6. Mike brought his car home in 6th for the sprint race.

In the feature race he qualified in 2nd position with the standings leader Gaczella starting just behing him. Jack just needed a good start and to hold 2nd place ahead of Gaczella but it was not to be as he got a sluggish start of the line and dropped down to 4th place. He got back up to 3rd towards the end of the race but Gaczella held 2nd to take the title with Jack finishing in 2nd and the team finishing in 3rd.  Mike Wrightson did not finish the feature race but still kept hold of his 5th in the drivers standings after a late second half come back in the season.
