FSR09 Round8 - Silverstone

FSR paid their tribute to the final GP at Silverstone by holding the 8th round of the season their over the weekend and once again GMT-DHR drivers were in the thick of the action.

WS AMA
4 GMT-DHR drivers attempted to qualify with 3 making the Grid. All three had solid runs and were in the points with the best Ivan Kaloyanov coming home in 5th position.
Ivan has now moved up to third in the championship race.
Orintas got a good 8th after starting 14th on the grid and Darren came home in a solid 12th position. The first team sits in 2nd in the standings.

WS ADV
In the Advanced Series Teo Bubicic finished in 7th and Marko Buhin finished in 11th.
Teo had a good run and did well to work his way from starting in the pit lane after a charge from the back of the pack.
Marko had a very eventful race  that included a few spins but still managed his 11th position and showed some real good pace.

WS PRO
Team Manager Damian Dainhumain was the only GMT-DHR driver to compete in Pro. Damian had to start in 22nd after some grid penalties. After 3 laps Damian was up to 7th and was looking at a very good result. But it was not to be and a couple of incidents meant that Damian finished in 12th position.

WS ACE
Both Tristan Bayless and Tomo Meglic had bad luck in the Ace division finishing down the order after both were involved in incidents. This was a pity after the fast pace they showed in testing.
